On this #ThankfulThursday we'd like to shout out our wonderful friends at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank Kid's Café, who stopped by last night to serve dinner to our pre-teens. Kid's Café prepares dinner for our whole Club as well as other organizations in RI five days a week throughout the school year. Not only was this meal - breakfast for dinner? - delicious and a huge hit with our members, but the team also brought fun coloring sheets and prizes for each member, making it an extra special meal time for our kiddos! We ?? the RI Community Food Bank!! Thank you for all you do for the Club! #GreatPartners #RICommunityFoodBank #BGCP #GreatFuturesStartHere #ThankfulThursday

Recently, some of our members found a special way to show their appreciation for our incredible staff! They chose the Club staff who inspire them the most, then colored a picture and wrote heartfelt thank-you cards. This thoughtful gesture truly moved our team. We are so fortunate to have such a caring and hardworking crew!

We are thrilled to announce that Ryan – one of our talented teen members – has won Best Design in the state of Rhode Island and is now a finalist in Cox Communication's National Phone Case Design Contest! This contest, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the start of Cox Innovation Labs – which our Club was proud to receive in 2023 – challenged Boys & Girls Club teens nationwide to design a phone case that reflects "A World Within Reach." Ryan’s creativity stood out, earning him a brand new iPad and headphones, along with the chance to win a $25,000 scholarship and have his design sold in Cox retail stores nationwide! A huge thank you to our longtime friends at Cox Communications. From helping to bridge the digital divide with Cox Innovation Labs to creating opportunities like this contest, they continue to empower young minds and inspire great futures. Join us in celebrating Ryan and wishing him the best of luck in the national contest! #InspiringGreatFutures #CoxMobileContest #AWorldWithinReach #GreatFuturesStartHere #BGCPawtucket #CoxCommunications #BGCP
