The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is the fourth largest chamber in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, with more than 1,200 partners who represent more than 36,000 employees. We're also proud to be one of only five chambers in the Commonwealth to be accredited by the United States Chamber of Commerce - a designation that only 260 other chambers in the nation can claim. The Chamber was recently named 2009 Chamber of the Year by the ACCE. We provide valuable services to our partners, advocate a positive business environment and stimulate economic development for South Central Kentucky. The Chamber has been recruiting businesses to the area since 1935 and will continue to make Bowling Green a hub of business in the global market. The Chamber is the driving force for economic development in South Central Kentucky and is dedicated to promoting the entire region, utilizing a regional economic development marketing plan to aid in the attraction of business and industry.

Leadership Bowling Green: Law & Justice Day – A Day of Insight and Exploration The first stop was the Warren County Justice Center, where Judge Kim Geoghegan offered an overview of District Court. Attendees then observed live court sessions with Judges John Brown and Brent Potter, getting a rare, firsthand look at the inner workings of the courtroom. Next was a panel of experienced legal professionals—Alisha Snodgrass (Assistant Commonwealth Attorney), Amy Hale Chandler (Warren County Attorney), and Kayla Fugate (Department of Public Advocacy)—shared their expertise, giving attendees a deeper understanding of the legal process and the challenges they face daily. After that, attendees visited the The Bowling Green Police Department for a panel discussion with law enforcement leaders. Lt. Col. Josh Hughes (Bowling Green Police), Lieutenant Brandon Brooks (Kentucky State Police), Sheriff Brett Hightower (Warren County Sheriff's Office), and Chief Mitch Walker (Western Kentucky University Police Department) discussed the critical roles their agencies play in ensuring community safety. After lunch, provided by Pinnacle Financial Partners, attendees enjoyed an exciting K-9 demonstration, showcasing the capabilities of the department's K-9 unit. The afternoon included presentations on specialized law enforcement topics, including the Critical Response Team and Hostage Negotiation, and Evidence & Dispatch. The group then had an engaging session on advanced crime scene investigation techniques. Participants got an inside look at how detectives approach complex cases and solve mysteries using cutting-edge methods.
