Irene Mora is our Unit Director at our Kaiser Elementary School location! Irene is pursuing?a career in education and has been singing and dancing since she was 4 years old, even dancing professionally for more than 3 years.? ? As she has been inspired by other strong female leaders in her life, she hopes to also inspire other young women she crosses paths with.? ? Her advice to her younger self ??? ? “I would advise my younger self to be unapologetically herself and to keep going. You will hear ‘no’ and ‘better luck next time,’ even if you tried your hardest. The trick is to work even harder because you are more capable than you think. Our members are hard at work! This week our Clubs partnered with Team Kids to support those affected by the recent LA wildfires by hosting their own LemonAID Stands! 100% of the proceeds going to the American Red Cross to support recovery efforts in LA. Our members experienced participating in the community by doing what they can to support those who need it most. Pursuing greatness looks like standing with one another and showing up when it matters most. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and showed your support and thank you to the Irvine Police Department and the Irvine Fire Department for their surprise visit and supporting our Irvine Club. Thanks to our community, our stands sold out! Elaine Le, our Director of Teen Services, always challenges herself to grow and constantly seeks out new opportunities for our teens and tweens. She loves being surrounded by other strong female leaders who push her to get out of her comfort zone and challenge her to be the best version of herself.? ? When Elaine is not serving our youth, you can find her capturing significant moments like graduations and birthdays for friends and the community. ?? ? ? Her advice to her younger self ?? ? ? "Be spontaneous and don't overthink it. Just go for it! We spend a lot of time considering different options to ensure the best possible results, but, sometimes, it's best to just go with the flow and see what happens.
