With values rooted in equity, access, opportunity, and prosperity, Business for Good (BFG) is advancing the model of traditional venture philanthropy in the Greater Capital Region of New York and beyond. Formed in 2020, BFG seeks to give back to move forward. ?? The Historic Albany Foundation Merit Awards are coming up next week - and we are delighted that Hattie's Albany will be honored with the Historic Albany Foundation's 2024 Main Street Award. The renovation of the former Lombardo's has been a long and rewarding journey. It's been thrilling to see so many enjoy the space since the restaurant's launch this past March. Also in this year's awards, the Albany Black Chamber of Commerce will receive a Certificate of Recognition. The recognition of BFG's work on the former University Club's transformation into the Albany Black Chamber of Commerce is a wonderful acknowledgment of an investment into a more equitable Albany that will benefit us all.
