Always a delight to be on a SpartUpSJSU panel! Last night’s topic was Planning and Growth, during which I enjoyed emphasizing the importance of: 1) Obsessing over the customer problem every step of the way - and treating every interaction with customers stakeholders, partners, and investors as an exercise in identifying the problem they are trying to solve. 2) Rapid decision making to learn, iterate, and keep accelerating success - and how Boyd’s OODA* loop framework can make product delivery and entrepreneurship JUST like being a pilot! Special thanks to Max Rothe and Eli Finn for facilitating, my fellow panelists Stephen Caines, Esq. Kim Jensen Celestre, MBA, ACPEC and Senan Khawaja for the dialogue, and of course Michael Ashley and Julia Padilla for the wonderful marketing support that FOCLARITY provides Euda.io! *OODA = Observe, Orient, Decide, Act

Wonderful to host Channon Kennedy, MBA as part of our Silicon Valley Leaders Symposium yesterday! She is a founder and CEO of what is possibly the only woman owned tool brand in the US. Yesterday she shared her entrepreneurial journey, telling the story of the Morgan Square, and inspiring the next generation of innovators. Thanks for spending time with us Channon! Whether through SJSU College of Engineering or SpartUpSJSU or some other venue, we will get you back on campus soon!

Keep pushing Sameer Saran! You can lean on us if you need support and when you’re ready, come back and share your story with a new set of SJSU founders this year!
???????? $60?? ???? ???????? ???? ?????????????????????????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ??.??. ???? ???? ?????????????????? ?? Six years ago, I took a leap of faith that changed my life. With $60,000 in student loan debt and as an immigrant navigating the complexities of the U.S. visa system, I decided to chase my dream of starting my own business rather than taking a secure job offer. This journey has been anything but easy. There were countless late nights, endless rejections, and many moments of self-doubt. But through it all, I learned the true essence of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of a robust support system. Today, I’m grateful to share that ParkStash has grown into something I’m truly proud of. From an idea born out of my own frustrations as a student to a business that helps simplify parking for many, it’s been a rollercoaster of pivots, challenges, and small wins along the way. I’m sharing my story in a blog post not to highlight my successes but to hopefully inspire anyone who’s facing similar struggles. The entrepreneurial journey can often feel isolating and overwhelming, but remember—every setback is a lesson, and every challenge is an opportunity to grow. ?? Key lessons from my journey: ?? ?????????? ???????? ??????????????: It all began with a promise to my grandfather when I was 13, and that promise fueled me through the tough times. ?? ?????????????? ?????? ??????????????: Bootstrapping was a challenging path, but it taught me the value of staying lean, focused and committed to solving real problems. ?? ?????????? ???????? ??????????: The unwavering support from my incredible cofounder?Abhaya Uprety, my partner?Priya Dixit, and family has been my backbone. You don’t have to do it alone. ?? ???????????????? ?????? ?????????????????????? ????????????: Successfully secured a green card within six years by navigating multiple visa paths, including OPT, STEM OPT, O1, and an extensive EB1A petition. Persistence and strategic planning were key. ?? ??????????????????: Immigration challenges, financial risks, and market pivots—each hurdle was a step forward, not a roadblock. If you want to read the full story, click here - https://lnkd.in/g4naFfcn. I’d be honored if you gave it a look. ?? If my journey resonates with you, please like and share this post to help it reach more people who might need a bit of encouragement today. If you have any questions or need support, feel free to reach out - I'm always happy to connect and help however I can! #Entrepreneurship #ImmigrantJourney #StartupStory #Bootstrapping #ParkStash #TechStartups #Founders #Leadership #Resilience #ImmigrantSuccess #SiliconValley #SelfMade #VisaJourney #GreenCard #Startuplife #Motivation #TechEntrepreneurs #Innovation #PersonalGrowth
