Yesterday, Governor Josh Shapiro highlighted the urgent need to invest in adult upskilling as a key driver of PA’s workforce and economy. We couldn’t agree more—education is opportunity, and investing in adult learners strengthens communities, fuels economic growth, and changes lives. Our CEO, Kimmell Joslin Proctor, was honored to stand with the Governor as he proposed a much-needed increase in adult education funding statewide to help the 7,500+ Pennsylvanians stuck on waitlists due to limited resources.
