Our Beacon Pointe Philadelphia team recently hosted an empowering Women’s Advisory Institute (“WAI”) event for our female clients, taking on the ‘Badass Women’s History’ walking tour with Beyond the Bell Tours. From government trailblazers to art, medicine, activism, and gender fluid inspirations, the group explored the legacy of women who have help shaped Philly!

Beyond the Bell Tours is a Philadelphia Cultural Fund 2024 Art and Culture Grantee! This money goes towards our Field Trip Fund that allows us to have a no-turn-away policy when it comes to field trips. We subsidize tours to make sure that every school that requests to come on a tour, ends up on one no matter what they can pay. If you’re a teacher or work at a school, spread the news about this fund! We have many open slots for the 24-25 school year

As many of you might know, I often spend the slow tour months substituting at local middle schools. The past five months I have been a long-term substitute English teacher for 7th and 8th graders at William Penn Charter School. It was an absolute delight and I was happy to wrap up my time there with a tour for my colleagues!
