The Bexley Area Chamber is meeting this Thursday (3/20) at Grain and Grape (4:30 PM) to talk about your ideas to improve the community. Question: Who do you trust to be a present-day unifier?? Chambers of Commerce are stepping into this role with purpose and impact. A recent report from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives found that 81% of U.S. adults view their local Chamber as a trusted resource and partner. This trust is what empowers Chambers to lead the way in bridging divides and tackling the complex challenges our communities face. In the greater Bexley area, our Chamber is committed to looking toward the future by having the difficult conversations today. By bringing together diverse voices—local business, civic, nonprofit and community leaders—we create a space to vet critical decisions and pave the way for responsible development that reflects a wide range of input. Chambers have long been champions for their members and their communities, and through this work, we’ve developed the skills to foster dialogue across divides, build consensus and drive progress. Betsy Farrar Joins the Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Bexley, OH (November 30, 2024)- The Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to welcome Betsy Farrar to the Board of Directors team as Legal and Strategic Director. She will serve as a board member helping advance the Chamber in their efforts to enhance local commerce.? Betsy is a retired partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the corporate group.?Her practice focuses primarily on the representation of public companies and financial institutions, which she regularly counsels on a broad range of matters involving corporate governance, securities law compliance and reporting issues and federal banking law compliance. Brenton Hill Joins the Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Bexley, OH (November 30, 2024)- The Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to welcome Brenton Hill from Talon Title Agency to the Board of Directors team as Membership Director. He will serve as a board member helping advance the Chamber in their efforts to enhance local commerce.? Brenton is a third generation Bexley resident with a deep passion for the community. He has owned multiple companies and will bring a high energy to the board with the goal of actively promoting commerce in and around Bexley.? Great event tonight with the kickoff of the Bexley jazz in park series. The Bexley Area Chamber got to host this wonderful event. We had a record number of people who attended the event as we had two different jazz groups play tonight. Great food, great music and great people.
