Bexar County Economic and Community Development (BCECD) is charged with investing and leveraging federal, state and local resources in order to ensure that community members receive the empowerment services that will improve their quality of life while making an economic impact in Bexar County. Services offered range from CEAP funded utility assistance to HUD funded housing rehabilitation and construction of infrastructure and public facilities. Bexar County's Economic and Community Development accomplishes its mission of facilitating significant change in Bexar County through the investment of appropriate resources in five divisions. Each division focuses on its area of specialty to keep "growing our economy" and "strengthening our community" through the careful, deliberate use of appropriate tools and resources.
