This new series will complement our ongoing webinar series, and both offer free CMEs. Each month, we’ll offer a didactic webinar session on a key clinical topic, followed two weeks later by a corresponding Project ECHO session for a deeper dive into the same topic with substance use considerations. Announcing a new collaboration for substance use support: PeriPAN is pleased to launch a collaboration with the Be Well Texas Recovery Network through Texas Health and Human Services Commission grant. This collaboration will expand access to behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment for pregnant and postpartum women through: ?? Real-time physician consultations ?? Access to treatment options ?? PCP training opportunities Substance use contributes to two-thirds of Child Protective Services cases and is the leading cause of maternal death within a year of childbirth in Texas. Pediatric, OBGYN, and family clinicians can play a vital role in early detection and intervention to safeguard maternal health and child welfare while breaking the cycle of substance use within families.
