At Betterment, we want to make it easier than ever to invest in what matters while still helping people build long-term wealth. We are proud to announce the addition of Academy Veteran Impact ETF (VETZ) to our Social Impact portfolio. VETZ is the first publicly traded bond ETF to primarily invest in loans to U.S. service members, military veterans, their survivors, and veteran-owned businesses. A portion of the management fee will be donated to veteran and military-related charities. Thank you to those who have bravely served our country, today and every day. We’re honored to continue investing in you. Investment in socially responsible ETFs (including VETZ) varies by portfolio allocation; not all allocations include VETZ.

?? Employers are starting to help employees tackle student loan debt! Our own Edward Gottfried discusses new legislation that went into effect at the beginning of 2024 (Secure Act 2.0) allows employers to treat student loan payments as eligible for 401(k) matches. This gives employees repaying loans the chance to receive an employer match, even if they can't contribute fully to their 401(k). ???? Is this something your employer offers? #studentloans #financialwellness #401k #talentretention
