Did you know that 1 in 3 top college athletes face online abuse—and women are targeted three times more than men? During tournaments, players don’t just face their opponents. They’re also hit with relentless scrutiny and hate on social media. This isn’t normal. And it shouldn’t be part of the game. Athletes train for pressure, but no one should have to face this kind of hate alone. Real strength isn’t just about pushing through—it’s about speaking up and asking for help. That’s why we’ve launched our Stop the Madness campaign—to stand with athletes, fight stigma, and help put an end to the hate. We’re proud to partner with three incredible athletes—Kiki Rice, Zoe Brooks, and Chance Gray—who are courageously sharing their personal stories and mental health journeys to inspire and support others. Hear what they had to say: ??? Zoe Brooks opens up on iHeartRadio about her own mental health experience - https://lnkd.in/g8XjDmzG ??? Kiki Rice shares her take on March Madness and mental health in this powerful Yahoo Sports article - https://lnkd.in/gfHMyHhi ?? And we’re honored to be featured in Psychology Today, where Dr. Brook Choulet sat down with Kiki Rice and Chance Gray for a live Q&A on athlete mental health! - https://lnkd.in/gBwRnMWh It’s time to stop normalizing the hate—and start showing up for athletes the way they show up for the game. Let’s Stop the Madness.

What if failure wasn’t the end, but the beginning? ?? The fear of failure can be paralyzing, but what if we flipped the script? Instead of ‘What if I fail?’ try ‘What if I succeed?’ ‘What if I surprise myself?’ Growth happens outside your comfort zone, and failure isn’t the opposite of success—it’s part of it. Messing up doesn’t mean you’re not good enough; it means you’re learning. So next time fear creeps in, challenge it with a positive ‘what if’—because the possibilities go both ways. ?

Are you truly at your best when running on little sleep? You wake up groggy, struggle to focus, and reach for caffeine before your day even starts. Sound familiar? According to a recent study, most people experience their best mental health in the morning (University College London, 2025). Mornings can offer a rare pocket of stillness – a chance to reset before the world rushes in. Whether it’s a deep breath, a warm drink, or a few minutes of stillness, these small rituals aren’t just routines – they’re acts of care. Carve out space for yourself in the mornings - because even the smallest moment can make a big impact ??

“What’s one thing you wish every woman knew about taking care of her mental health?” For International Women’s Day, we asked our women BetterHelp therapists this question. Their responses are powerful reminders that setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and seeking support are not selfish—they’re necessary. ?? Did you know? Women are twice as likely as men to be diagnosed with depression (Mayo Clinic) with consistently higher prevalence rates of anxiety disorders (National Library of Medicine). Yet, many face barriers to seeking support, including: ?? Stigma – The pressure to “push through” can make it harder for women to prioritize their mental well-being without fear of judgment. ???? Caregiving Responsibilities – From childcare to eldercare, many women put others first, often at the expense of their own mental health. ?? Limited Access to Support – Financial barriers and lack of flexible care options can make seeking professional help even harder. Remember, your mental health is worth prioritizing—always.?? #IWD2025 #Internationalwomensday #womensmentalhealth

In a world where everyone is telling us who we should be and what we should want, therapy offers something invaluable: the chance to find your authentic self ?? At BetterHelp, we’re proud to connect individuals with therapists who guide and support them on their journey to self-discovery and growth. #BetterHelp #TherapistTestimonial #MentalHealthMatters #EmployeeWellness #Authenticity #TransformativeCare

BetterHelp therapist Melissa Hummelt, LMHC, sees this all the time – people hold off on making changes, waiting for the right moment. But the truth is, growth happens when we take action, and confidence comes from doing – not waiting. So, ask yourself: Who’s deciding when you’re ‘ready’? Is it controlled by fear or self-doubt? Remember: The ‘perfect’ time to take action doesn’t exist. If it’s been on your mind, now might be the best time to start ??

The self-doubt, the overthinking, the fear of standing out or saying the wrong thing… For teens, these struggles can feel overwhelming and isolating. And for the adults in their lives, it’s easy to forget what it felt like—or to miss the signs that a young person is silently struggling. BetterHelp is partnering with Mind4Youth to make mental health support more accessible, approachable, and stigma-free for teens: ?? Mind4Youth is one of the largest youth-led mental health nonprofits in the world. Their mission is to raise awareness about teen mental health and ensure that resources are accessible to all young people who need it. ?? BetterHelp is providing Mind4Youth members with 150 3-month vouchers of free therapy. Because no one should feel alone in their struggles. If you see yourself in these words—or recognize them in someone you care about—know that support is out there. You’re not alone. #WorldTeenWellnessDay
