??? ‘Tis the season for giving back! On November 21st, Better Tomorrows joined forces with Camden Community Partnership, the Ablett Village Resident Council, and the Housing Authority of the City of Camden (HACC) CNI Case Management Team to bring holiday cheer to the residents of Ablett Village in Camden, NJ. Together, we coordinated a Holiday Basket Giveaway filled with turkeys, cranberry sauce, stuffing, fresh greens, sweet potatoes, and more festive fixings! ?????? This incredible event was a true team effort, from assembling the bags to distributing over 160 baskets to residents at the community center. A huge thank you to all our partners, including City of Camden Office of the Mayor, CAMDEN COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and The Michaels Organization, for making this possible. The spirit of giving doesn’t stop here—Camden has more holiday events planned, including turkey giveaways and winter apparel distributions throughout the city. Our Williamsport Elderly residents got creative this month with a blow-dry pour painting session—complete with Shirley Temple mocktails! ???? While our projects didn’t turn out exactly as planned, we learned that some skills take a little more practice, patience, and perseverance. And you know what?
