Ready and renewed! Over two days, Better Together staff collaborated, brainstormed, reflected, discussed, strategized, and danced at our biannual All Staff retreat. We gleaned the insights of True Charity Founder and CEO James Whitford and listened intently to the leadership guidance of Cape Christian Pastor Corey Demmel. We learned to line dance at our Western Throwdown team dinner and played a team-building game of Family Feud. We celebrated birthdays, shared our gratitude, and made meaningful connections with our co-workers. And we returned—renewed and ready to serve! #LifeOnMission #BetterTogether

We are incredibly grateful to be named the recipient of a $96,000 grant from Impact 100 St. Lucie. This is a group of philanthropic women who are deeply passionate about working together to improve the St. Lucie County community. Each member donates $1,100 to fund grants that go directly to organizations that are making a transformational impact. To be selected as a finalist is a great honor on its own. Impact 100 believes in empowering women to be the change agents in their communities, just as we believe in empowering parents to be the change agents for their families. With this funding, Better Together will be able to help more families stay together and keep more children out of foster care in St. Lucie County. Together, we will help families flourish.
