You do not have to have an engineering degree to start your electrical engineering/design career. Check out this opportunity from SSOE for an Electrical Designer role. Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED is required. An Associate degree in engineering or architectural fields is preferred. - Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with other tools such as Revit, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and/or EasyPower is a plus. - Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., National Electric Code, NFPA, etc.). Benefits: Salary Range: $50,000 - $100,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
