Exciting Update We are thrilled to share how the recent addition of an ultrasound machine has been transforming the way we provide care! This powerful tool has become invaluable to our GYN team and has supported various medical needs, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Just last week we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Kyle Jackson, a volunteer physician from CHRISTUS Endocrinology, who used our ultrasound machine to perform biopsies on patients with thyroid nodules. The ability to visualize the nodules in real-time allowed Dr. Jackson to carry out these delicate procedures with pinpoint accuracy, minimizing risk and delivering a higher standard of care. What’s even more exciting is that by conducting these procedures in-house, we’ve been able to offer advanced care to our patients without the need for costly referrals or time-consuming trips to other facilities. This is a game-changer for many patients who may otherwise have struggled to access specialized services. We are jumping with joy to introduce you to our Alex Brantley, our new pediatric mental health counselor for Bethesda Pediatrics. - Alex is from Kilgore but has been a resident of Tyler since 2016. - She has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from UT Tyler as well as a master of arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from UT Tyler. - In her free time, Alex enjoys traveling and mostly spending time with friends, family and her beloved golden retriever, Bear. - Alex says, "I wanted to work at Bethesda because of their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on unserved communities. I chose my career because of my passion for helping people. Supporting, advocating and guiding individuals through life's challenges brings me purpose." Welcome ALEX!

Congratulations to Natalie Molina for being named this quarter's Lagniappe Winner for Delivering the Unexpected. Natalie consistently models our Bethesda values by “Delivering the Unexpected." She is prepared to assist our dental department wherever needed. Her co-workers speak of her compassion, especially with patients who are sometimes nervous and scared. Dental Director Dr. Stephanie Wilson says, “I whole heartedly feel like Natalie deserves to be recognized for wearing so many hats with grace and a genuine smile. She goes above and beyond daily to help at both the adult clinic and pediatrics. No matter how many tasks I throw at her in a day, she always has a smile and a ‘what else can I do?’ attitude. She always deals with confrontational patients with a calm demeanor and is a wonderful communicator. Our team is sincerely thankful for her every day." Great job Natalie!
