Congratulations to Team Hot2Tech who will be presenting at BetaNYC's NYC School of Data event on Saturday March 29th! This event is part of the amazing line up of activities during NY Open Data Week! Team Hot2Tech consists of Olivia Fratangelo, Huda A. and Taseen Islam. They received honorable mention at Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York's Inaugural Fall Datathon for their presentation "Are NYC Subway Stops Ready for Every Student?" This presentation analyzed whether or not current accessibility standards at subway stations near specialized high schools are adequately supporting students with disabilities. This team went on to be recognized at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Open Data Challenge for "Most Interesting Research Question". Now they will be part of the MTA Open Data Lightning Round during the School of Data event happening at City University of New York School of Law!
