We’re excited about our work with the BERKSHIRE REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. Informed by crash data and public input, the plan aims to reduce fatalities and serious injuries in roadway accidents for all modes of transportation. Transportation planners Jeff and Anna recently presented the draft action plan at a public meeting and released it for review and comment. We had a blast after work on Friday at the Providence Bruins game! It was a nail-biter until the very end, with the Cleveland Monsters claiming victory in overtime. A big thanks to our Employee Engagement Committee for organizing the event. Looking forward to the next team outing!

Our team has been busy collaborating with residents and other stakeholders in Portsmouth, NH as we work on completing a Market Square Master Plan that best fits the community’s current and future needs. We recently set up a table at a local farmer’s market to collect public input and had a surprise visitor! He didn’t have much to say about the plan, but we’ll take it as a sign of good luck.

Our accounting and marketing leaders are at Deltek ProjectCon this week! While our engineers, planners, landscape architects, and scientists are busy improving communities in the field, BETA’s support staff works behind the scenes every day to stay abreast of the latest tech innovations that can help us tackle complex challenges and maximize performance. We’re excited to be networking with industry professionals and learning new ways to power our success.
