If you know Paul "Batman" Collins-Hackett and "The Kane Enterprises" crew with #TheRedbookshelf (www.theredbookshelf.org), you know they do incredible work in the Capital Region to foster a love for reading among children. You may also know that they take inspiration from superheroes and comics, particularly the "Bat Family" of the DC universe. I've met Paul and the team at events I worked over the past year, and shortly after I captured pix of Paul receiving the Philanthropist of the Year award this past spring from United Way of the Greater Capital Region, we finally put things together for new photos. I had a great time with Paul and his team at the Best Frame Forward studio at Hone Coworks last month, and we're ready to share the results! Each team member portrays a superhero in their outreach efforts, so what better way to capture headshots but to go with comic-inspired 'secret identity' images! The lighting and color are dramatic, and play off the color scheme of their chosen character. I'm proud to share these photos for an organization that does such fantastic work in our area, and who are genuinely passionate and caring individuals (and just a lot of fun :D)! #SaveTheCity #RedBookshelf #brandingphotography #portraitphotography #HoneCoworks #studiophotography #veteranowned
