The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities. Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This past weekend, two members of our transition team had the opportunity to attend Link Day at Boston University. The event was a fantastic blend of problem-solving, strategic planning, and networking. Our team thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with college students and discussing how we can best support our students as they embark on their next exciting journey!?
