Shares of Snowflake continued to rally after blowing away Wall Street with its third quarter earnings report. The company also reported a partnership with AI company Anthropic. "It is good to see Snowflake back on offense," said Byron Deeter from Bessemer Venture Partners, an investor in Anthropic. "This partnership is one that we will see replicated across many of the incumbents as they try to leverage their platform and data assets to be a first mover in the AI wave."

After several grueling defeats against the 227lb. sled, I took a deep breath, grabbed the rope, and to my surprise, it easily slid across the floor toward me. It was one of many triumphs in Saturday's HYROX PRO race, where I notched an AG win and qualified for the World Championships! I got a PR by almost 2 minutes and dominated a few stations that had challenged me race after race, year after year. *Progress takes time.* This is just one of the lessons I've learned over the course of STRIVE, a Bessemer Venture Partners wellness program in conjunction with coaching company Exos, specifically designed for entrepreneurs, founders, and CEOs. STRIVE has not only pushed me physically but also illuminated the deeper connections between athletic performance and leadership. Grit, resilience, getting uncomfortable, practicing how we want to perform, and discovering why we do what we do are all lessons that seamlessly translate to building a high-performance team. The team at Exos recommended Edward Deci's book "Why We Do What We Do": In it, he wrote "People can become more intrinsically motivated by working hard to achieve a goal." The feeling of finally conquering that sled, of pushing past my limits and achieving the high standard I'd set for myself, that's the power of intrinsic motivation in action.
