With over 1.5 trillion of CRE debt maturing by the end of 2025, the current interest rates pose a grave threat to landlords regardless of their property performance. Coupled with the Federal Debt service, the situation is alarming. I am sorry but washing all of this debt is going to be painful. A soft landing is looking more and more precarious by the week. That being said, those that survive and make it through are going to have great opportunities as valuations reset. We are predicting that this will be ideal for our respective clients.
