From school founders and executive directors, to operations leaders, deans of students, and directors of curriculum and instruction, BES is a national nonprofit that trains leaders to build schools, to ensure their schools excel, and to sustain their results over time. We invest in leaders so that they can invest in their teams and students, delivering on the promise of an excellent education for every child. Spending time in Atlanta with BES and my LENS cohort was another memorable learning experience. Visiting schools, connecting with leaders, and reflecting on what it takes to create meaningful change reinforced the urgency of our work. Hearing from Mike Brown on culturally responsive pedagogy reminded me that it’s not enough to simply acknowledge inequities; we must take intentional action. His message challenged me to think deeply about how we design instruction, build relationships, and create systems that serve our students. Thank you to BES (build. excel. sustain.) Drew Academy, Amana, and Elite for welcoming us into your schools.

?? Our latest Annual Report is here! In 2024, BES supported even more leaders across the country who are investing in the success of their students. We celebrated key milestones and the important ways schools are making long-term impact and bringing excellence to their communities. We also strengthened collaborative partnerships with organizations who share our vision to make sure every child has access to a high-quality education. 2025 brings a stronger sense of purpose, and we know that the work we do to train leaders to build schools, to ensure their schools excel, and to sustain their results over time is more important than ever. We are energized by upcoming opportunities to deepen our impact, expand our reach, and continue supporting leaders who are shaping brighter futures for the next generation. Thank you for your commitment and support. We can't wait to share more with you in this new year. https://lnkd.in/gcaq7i7U
