A highlight of the year is our addition of electric trucks and biofuel trucks to our fleet within the Group, and our continued success with intermodal transport, where Bertschi saves more than 200,000 tons of CO2e annually compared to pure road transport. The first snowfall of the season here at HQ in Switzerland was a big one! ?? We have concluded our annual Bertschi Business Development meeting here at headquarters! Our Business Developers (BD) are experts in client acquisition and management, and each holds a portfolio of Bertschi clients as the main point of contact representing our company to them face-to-face. The BD's came together for a 2-day workshop which consisted of full trainings, discussions, and Group-wide updates. In addition to the back-to-back meetings and seminars, of course, they enjoyed team building activities and joyful meals together. Congratulations to all involved in the organization. A record 163 (!!) Bertschi colleagues in Switzerland competed in August at the annual Company and People Small Caliber Shooting Competition, a local tradition. The results of the competition are finally out, and the internal rankings were announced at a fun event at the headquarters. Congratulations to all the winners, with special mention to the overall single rank winner Christoph Waelchli for a stunning 97 points out of 100! And Group rank winner "Dream Team 2.0" with 283 points out of 300! Small Caliber Shooting competitions are sport events that take place all around Switzerland. They celebrate the fascinating sport that combines four elements: the static, the dynamic, concentration, and strength.
