The Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, Jail and House of Correction has an immediate opening for a full time, on-site (40 hour/wk) DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICES. Position schedule is Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. On-call required every other week (after hours including weekends/holidays). Salary Range: Grade 27 - $103,179.85 to $120,861.00 based on experience Position duties include recruiting, staff scheduling, payroll management and approval; supervision of medical department staff; writing, implementation and compliance of policy and procedures including DOC, NCCHC and ACA standards; scheduling and participation in all medical audits; experience with EMR build to support compliance of policy; maintaining all required DEA, Controlled Substance and DPH licenses/certificates; overseer of MAT program, including compliance and licensure; collaboration with pharmacy for necessary needs; collaboration with training department for required drills; peer reviews; performance reviews. CCHP certification will be required within 1st year of employment; experience with medical policy and procedure implementation, staff supervision and familiarity with electronic health record management required.
