Our mission is to aid and advocate economic development with respect to education, neighborhood revitalization, arts and culture, business ownership, social programming, environmental justice, recruitment and retention of business regarding the black community of Berkshire Black Entrepreneurs. By encouraging economic justice and implementing new regional initiatives, we hope to open access to capital, technical assistance, and patronage. We are here to provide support to entrepreneurs and promote existing businesses. We aim to attract and inspire other Black businesses to relocate to the Berkshires.

The enrichment navigator will work under the direction of the BBEC’s Executive Director, develop reports for the organization, and work alongside seasonal interns. The role is primarily an in person position. The majority of the work will occur in-person in our Pittsfield office or on site with Berkshire Black businesses, with occasional trips beyond Berkshire County.
