I want to thank Professor Karen Trapenberg Frick and her entire City and Regional Planning class of 75 brilliant Cal students, which studied methods of transportation between the University of California, Berkeley and the Berkeley Space Center. The students had incredible insights on public transit, water and air solutions and ways to mitigate the 47 mile journey. I was joined on the panel by Sid Sun, Seamus Wilmot, Laura Melendy, Franziska Church, Emily Ornellas, and Tim Smith. It's incredible to think that what started out as core group of people has grown into hundreds of people working on this transformational center of innovation that will advance NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's strategic mission, UC Berkeley's public mission, and that will address the world's toughest problems in aerospace, advanced aviation and other deep technologies. Go Bears! Special thanks to Amy Gardner, Alexandre Bayen, Amber Hopkins, Chris Yetter, the teams at SKS Partners, Fehr & Peers, and HOK and a whole host of others who are making this happen.... #gobears #bearsinspace spacecenter.berkeley.edu
