Milwaukee's historic Pabst Mansion is undergoing a critical change! We recently completed the first step in the vital preservation of the pavilion structure, carefully disassembling it to preserve elements for future reconstruction. This effort leverages cutting-edge laser scanning technologies to ensure historical accuracy and integrity, and carefully cataloging and storing over 5000 pieces of terra cotta. We have a discovery!? ? Restoring and preserving historical buildings comes with the opportunity to go back in time and renew what once was. Within the stone walls of?The Good Fellow Camp Lodge, located along the Indiana Dunes, our crews discovered a time capsule which enclosed an American flag and letter from the early 1940s.? ? Historical architects are now researching conservation treatments to further document these incredible artifacts.
