SPECIAL PROJECTS SPOTLIGHT The Special Projects Division returned to Wisconsin Shower Door (WSD) to help replace their water filtration system in their Water Treatment Room. For the past few months, we’ve been coordinating with WSD, their vendors, and our trade partners to remove the existing system and install the new system. On Saturday, Nov. 2, Berghammer’s concrete crew was onsite early in the morning to pour concrete into the pit in preparation for the new system. Using a pump truck, they pumped concrete in through a side door to avoid disruption in the plant. For the next step, we went back a week later. It was a beautiful day, and thanks to a great team of trade partners and thorough planning, we were able to pull back the roof, remove all three of the old tanks, place the two new tanks, and replace the beams and roof by the end of the day. This allowed WSD’s vendor to start their installation sooner, minimizing the disruption to WSD’s daily operations. Berghammer’s Special Projects Division is honored WSD brought us back for this project.?We value their continued partnership and the recognition that we can support them on projects large and small.
