October's Monthly Employee Spotlight will feature Emily Gambina, a design professional who originally started her career as an entry level designer with Berardi+ prior to going back to graduate school. Emily’s experience lies in multi-family housing, with a focus on adult independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation projects, credit unions, and luxury condominiums. Emily’s return to Berardi+ last year has her currently working in a variety of roles as a project coordinator, where she supports project managers and leaders in conceptual planning/design, schematic/design development, completion of construction documents, and construction administration. Emily is known for her attention to detail, teamwork, and dedication to creating thoughtful, user-centered designs. Check out Emily's feature below! ??

Last week, members of the Berardi+ team joined The Champion Companies to celebrate the groundbreaking of their latest development, Retreat at Crosswoods. This exciting project will bring 395 new market-rate residences featuring high-end amenities to the Worthington area. We are proud and grateful to partner on this new/exciting development and look forward to seeing the development transform the landscape of the neighborhood. We’re excited to announce that the September Monthly Employee Spotlight is Carlin Colston, who plays a vital role as a Project Designer at our Berardi Cleveland office. A graduate of Kent State University, Carlin brings four years of diverse experience across multiple project types, including commercial, healthcare, retail, historic preservation, and both multi-family and single-family housing. Despite working in Cleveland, he has developed strong relationships within the office because of his dedication and commitment to the profession. Carlin’s greatest asset tends to be his willingness to learn by tackling complicated design and programming challenges.
