Berard was the mega transport and loadout provider for this amazing project. When the need arises, we’re there.
Last year, PES began work on a customer’s offshore, topside replacement four-pile deck. Most of the fabrication was completed in December 2023 when the team began assembly, lasting through April 2024, and the team completed the loadout in May. PES managed the procurement, prefabrication, final assembly, coatings, pressure testing and transportation onto a client-furnished barge. Although PES has successfully executed several refurbishment platforms, this 700-ton topside was the first new build for the company. Great job to #TeamPES and all involved!

Berard OnTheMove Newsletter - November 2024 Shipyards are an everyday job site for the Berard team. This shipyard needed this massive 3,396 ton, 361’ long x 105’ wide barge loaded out. Our team worked carefully to ensure a safe trip through the yard to the dry dock. The team maneuvered the barge around and between other builds in progress on the way to the bulkhead. After arriving, both the shipyard’s ballast team and Berard operators worked together to roll the cargo onto the dry dock in a timely and safe manner. In over-the-road transport news, the Berard team was recently challenged to deliver two industrial vessels to a new south Louisiana facility. In other news, the Berard team took home second place at the World Championship Gumbo Cook-Off and also participated in the Loreauville Tailgate Cookoff. It's showtime!
