Helping to Build More Housing Faster at Bequall

For years, building Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) in Massachusetts meant red tape. On Feb 2, 2025, the Affordable Homes Act cut through it, making ADUs easy statewide. This shift isn’t just about housing policy—it’s about real people and real families. More adults than ever are living with their parents, and many families need space to care for children with disabilities or aging loved ones. We all know someone in this situation. ADUs create flexible, affordable options that allow families to stay close while maintaining independence. It’s also a win-win for homeowners and the housing market—helping people generate rental income, support multigenerational living, and increase property value, while also expanding housing supply without massive new developments. Housing solutions don’t always have to mean large-scale construction; sometimes, the best answers are already in our backyards. This is exactly why I joined Bequall. Housing shouldn’t be this hard to scale. Homeowners and developers alike benefit when we remove unnecessary complexity and create smart, system-based solutions that accelerate housing production. Bequall is focused on making that possible—helping homeowners and developers streamline zoning, permitting, and capital flow to build modular homes at scale. The Affordable Homes Act is a big step forward, but there’s still work to do. I’m excited to be part of a team that’s solving these challenges—and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Would you consider building an ADU? Let’s discuss. ?? #AffordableHousing #ADUs #Homeowners #MultigenerationalLiving #MassachusettsHousing #ModularHousing #SustainableLiving
