关于我们
The Gloria Cordes Larson Center for Women and Business (CWB) at Bentley University is a catalyst for amplifying the power of all women from the classroom to the boardroom to drive equity and innovation in the business world. Through enriching programs, impactful partnerships, and data-backed research, the CWB will address the most pressing gender equity and leadership challenges in today’s business landscape and inspire transformative change across industries. For Business Professionals: We provide thought leadership on critical workplace diversity issues and the best practices, programs, and policies that foster inclusion. Through our signature workshops, we engage individuals at all levels of the organization and help our corporate partners ignite change and advance their diversity goals. For Alumni: We work with alumni to provide resources that aid in the understanding of key DEI topics around intersectionality, gender, and equity in an effort to empower them to foster inclusive workplace cultures. We also work with alumni to develop strategies for self-advocacy and success. For Students: We offer programs and advise student organizations in an effort to promote intersectional gender equity on Bentley’s campus. During our programs, students of all genders, graduate and undergraduate, engage with these topics in a safe and brave environment and learn strategies that transform their knowledge and beliefs into actionable allyship on campus and beyond With Faculty: Bentley faculty work closely with our center through research, speaking engagements, teaching, and student mentorship.

Did you know that studies show that by the age of 14, a girl’s confidence can drop by as much as 30%? This stark statistic motivates us daily to create moments where young women can reconnect with their inner strength and potential. Thank you to the team at Boston Scores for entrusting us with the opportunity to deliver this workshop and for joining in on our "power pose"—a simple yet powerful tool designed to help people tap into their resilience and confidence. Confidence isn’t just a fleeting feeling; it’s a skill that can be nurtured, one empowering session at a time. We are grateful for the chance to share, uplift, and inspire these young leaders!
Last week we got to expand on our partnership with Boston Scores - what started as 40 high school students in March, turned into an additional 82 students visiting campus last week! On Tuesday we hosted 52 middle school girls, in collaboration with The Center for Women and Business at Bentley University, E-Hub at Bentley University and First Generation department. The girls got a tour of campus by student-athletes, followed by 3 sessions on: women's empowerment (see superwoman pose), entrepreneurial activity and Bentley's commitment to First Generation students. The day concluded with a clinic from our women's soccer team. On Saturday, we hosted 30 high school boys & girls for a campus tour, watching the second half of the men's soccer game, a clinic hosted by the men's team and concluding the day watching the second half of our women's soccer team. Our goal is as clear as ever: empower the next generation of leaders through access and opportunity. We can't wait to keep building on this partnership #OneFalcon
