#Bentley Motors has delivered four bespoke #Bentayga EWB Azure SUVs, handcrafted by #Mulliner in Crewe, England, to The Peninsula Hong Kong, the flagship of The Peninsula Hotels, which opened in 1928, enhancing the hotel's luxury chauffeur fleet. The four cars were designed by The Peninsula in collaboration with Bentley's Mulliner division and crafted by artisans at Bentley's Dream Factory in Crewe, England. Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bentley Motors commented, “On behalf of Bentley Motors, it was a pleasure to present these four magnificent bespoke Bentaygas to The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie and The Peninsula Hong Kong. Mexican designer Fernando Laposse has been named the winner of the #Bentley Lighthouse Award at this evening's Dezeen Awards 2024 ceremony, in partnership with Bentley Motors. The Bentley Lighthouse Award recognises designers who are curious and courageous in their approach and whose work has had a beneficial impact on social and environmental sustainability, inclusivity or community empowerment. Laposse collaborates with members of the Tonahuixtla village in Mexico to regenerate their farmland while creating new jobs for the community through his designs - which utilise natural materials such as agave, corn and luffa. The design inspiration is deeply rooted in the unique and diverse landscape of the desert, along with the distinctive architectural styles found in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, and the broader Coachella Valley. Each #ContinentalGTC embodies a different aspect of this rich visual and cultural tapestry.
