First trivia night at the hub to facility community building. Congrats to our winners, Bayer | Crop Science, Plastomics, Inc., CoverCress Inc. 4. World Agri-Tech San Francisco is coming up and preparations are ongoing. Our partners at Greater St. Louis, Inc. are helping to organize the St. Louis region at this year’s conference under the #STLMade umbrella! 5. A lot of folks have been coming through The Hub these last two weeks to work. These are just a few: Arch Grants, Archway Advisors, Bayer Crop Science, BioSTL, BugBiome, Danforth Plant Science Center, Hire Henry, Missouri Partnership, Pivot Bio, Pluton Biosciences, University of Missouri-Columbia. 6. The Hub hosted some international folks this week to help improve connections with international agtech companies. 7. Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum had its opening night for their new exhibit, Seeds: Containers for a World to Come. The exhibit is open until the end of July, so go visit! 8. Thanks to our partners at Greater St. Louis Inc., for hosting a panel on agtech. It was a great opportunity to showcase to the larger St. Louis business community just how well-positioned our region has become to be a global leader in agtech innovation. Thanks to panelists Phil Taylor (Bayer), Stephanie Gamez (Agragene Inc), and Michael DeCamp (CoverCress Inc.) who joined our Executive Director as well as Maggie Kost (GSL) for facilitating a great discussion.

2025 has already been an exciting year! In a new segment we're calling #HubHappenings, named after our coworking space, catch a glimpse of what #39North and the Innovation District have been up to. 1. Coffee with Colleagues kickoff, featuring #BrewTulum! If you haven't heard, they're coming back to The Hub Mondays and Wednesdays starting March 10th. 2. With the help of many ecosystem parters, 39 North submitted a final proposal to potentially host the 2026 G20 Meeting of Agricultural Chief Scientists. We'll let the community know if St. Louis is selected. Fingers crossed! Big thank you to our major coalition partners: Greater St. Louis, Inc., Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, Bayer | Crop Science, Explore St. Louis, St. Louis Union Station (Lodging Hospitality Management), St. Louis Lambert International Airport Marketing & Business Development and many more. Special thanks to Geoffrey King and Karla Roeber, who helped pull the proposal together. 3. As part of our 'Out & About' program, 39 North was in San Diego at the Plant & Animal Genome (#PAG32) scientific meeting supporting and amplifying companies and the numerous speakers from the St. Louis region. 4. The district welcomed Cquesta to the 39 North district with a lunch and learn. They will be in the BRDG Park building. 5. The 2nd #ReACH summit, convened by BioSTL was held in the district. The program seeks to accelerate #regenerative technologies to market. Numerous companies came to St. Louis to speak with farmers and local companies. 6. The first 'Lunch Break' was held at The Hub. This fun, free, new monthly program encourages collaboration across the district and region. 7. As a continuation from the World Trade Center St. Louis delegation to the UK in 2023, The Hub hosted Roz Bird and Nicola Harrison to build relationships and facilitate an exchange of ideas across agtech ecosystems.
