Companies pay $15-$50k monthly for PR firms to generate press releases... With AI, the cost comes down to 0 — ZILCH! Steal these 5 prompts to create quality press releases: (based on industry trends and company performance data) PROMPT 1. Input Company News and Gather Industry Data "I need help gathering data for a press release. Here's the key information: - Industry: [Your Industry] - Company Name: [Your Company Name] - Press Release Topic: [Brief description of the news you're announcing] - Key Performance Metrics: [List 2-3 relevant company metrics] - Target Media Outlets: [List 3-5 media outlets you're targeting] Browse the web for recent industry trends and statistics related to our announcement. Provide a summary of the most relevant data points that could add context to our press release." PROMPT 2. Assess News Value and Potential Impact "Based on the company information and industry trends you've gathered, analyze the following: 1. The newsworthiness of our announcement in the current industry landscape 2. Potential impact on key stakeholders (customers, investors, partners) 3. How our news compares to recent announcements from competitors 4. Any unique angles or data points that could make our story stand out Provide a brief analysis for each point, highlighting data that supports your conclusions." PROMPT 3. Generate Press Release Drafts "Using the company information, industry trends, and news value analysis, generate three different press release drafts. Each draft should: 1. Have a compelling headline that incorporates a key data point 2. Include a strong lead paragraph summarizing the news and its significance 3. Incorporate relevant industry statistics to provide context 4. Highlight our company's key performance metrics 5. Be no longer than 400 words Label each draft (Draft A, B, and C) and explain the main focus or angle of each version." -- These prompts are so comprehensive I've run out of space! Check out our deep dive on how Dan Shipper uses AI to think, write, and build ??
Founder at Ben’s Bites. Helping you use AI to work smarter, not harder. Follow for daily AI tips and tutorials.
I spoke with Dan Shipper about how he uses AI in work and life. Dan's the co-founder and CEO of Every Inc. (100k+ paid subs). He's also behind popular AI tools like: - Lex (AI writing app) - Sparkle (AI file organizer) - Spiral (custom prompt builder) Here are 4 ways Dan uses AI for creative writing and idea generation: 1. AI as an intellectual reading partner "I get way more out of my reading by having ChatGPT listen to me as I read, or just asking a question as I go." Use cases: - understand opinions and counterarguments - enable voice-assisted reading with ChatGPT - visualize learning with DALL-E - Simplify complex passages 2. AI to refine your taste "ChatGPT is great at naming things you've felt but never been able to articulate." Use cases: - build a creative target - ask ChatGPT to explore your taste - customize AI for better decision-making 3. AI to synthesize ideas "I'll ask Claude, 'What's my thesis?' I don't expect it to write the thesis for me, but it can take all these fragments and tell me what it sees. From there, I refine and rewrite." Use cases: - build a project knowledge base - refine big ideas 4. AI for output "Spiral gets me 80% of the way there for things like generating social posts or summarising podcasts. I spend my energy on the final polish, not the initial grunt work." Use cases: - writing with Lex - automating repetitive tasks with Spiral - better digital organization with Sparkle Read the full post here: https://lnkd.in/eV9KpgcP #ai #artificialintelligence #chatgpt
