WE ARE HIRING We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Division 9 Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role REQUIRES effective project scheduling, budget management, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of division 9 construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met. Utilize project management software such as EComm, ProCore, Project Sight and other construction software for tracking progress and documentation as required by the construction manager/general contractor. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety regulations. Facilitate communication between team members to address any issues or changes in project scope. Prepare reports on project status for upper management. Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling techniques, and blueprint reading. The ability to read blueprints is necessary due to the strong backlog that the company already has in place. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Be willing to take on the responsibility of a project manager which means going the extra mile as needed to make sure your project is under control and moving along as required. This job requires more than 40 hours per week as well. A project manager is required to have their company phones with them at all times. A project manager may receive calls about their jobs in the evenings and sometimes on weekends IF we are working onsite over the weekend. Strong communication skills is required. A project manager must answer or return all missed phone calls DAILY. A project manager must stay on top of all emails and respond DAILY. A project manager must be abel to handle conflict easily and be able to make decisions for the company/project quickly if required. Taking ownership of your projects is necessary. A project manager must treat each project as if their own and make sure it goes smooth and comes in at or under budget. A high school diploma is required. At least 5 years of experience in some sort of project management is required for this position. We lost one of our own last week. Patrick was a long-time employee at Bennett's. He will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his ten year old son that he spent all his time with. We are setting up an educational savings account for him that he can get when he's 18. All donations from this car wash will go directly to this account. The photos I took of this project while onsite yesterday shows just how talented our personnel is. The amount of metal studs that has went in to just the auditorium is absolutely amazing! A lot of the work our personnel does on these jobsites goes unseen or gets covered up with drywall and paint. To be able to install these metals studs the way they do, it shows how inteligent and talented they are to be able to build these buildings like they do. I love showing off their work because I'm super proud of all our personnel and what all they do! Denny Flatt is leading this project for us and about to be completed with the metal studs and drywall. Congratulations to Scott McQueary for 35 years of service to our company. He started with us in 1989 and has touched most every aspect of our company at some point. He is my senior project manager and is a big contributor to our success. We look forward to many more years of success together with Scottie heading up our project management department along with helping with other administrative decisions. Woodford County Schools is building a massive new high school. This project is broken out into multiple areas/phases. We are very fortunate to have the metal studs and drywall, ceilings and floors on this project. Denny Flatt is running the metal studs and drywall for us and Chad McFarland is leading the ceilings for us. There’s still lots of work to be completed but it’s moving right along. We are teamed up with Trace Creek Construction, Inc. on this one. We can’t wait to see the final product.

Floors should be complete this evening at the Garrard Co EMS. The patterns in the flooring is very detailed. Our personnel has done a great job with this project. Joey Smith is the PM on this one. We are teamed up with OMNI Commercial, LLC

Floor covering is coming along well at the New Vista Facility in Lexington. Jerome Sayers is leading the project. There’s many different patterns in these floors which means our personnel has to pay close attention to detail. I can’t wait to see this one completed.
