Bennett & Pless provided structural engineering services for the newly completed Rosalind Richardson Center of Hope at Myers Park United Methodist Church. This state-of-the-art facility, built in collaboration with SteelFab, Inc., Barringer Construction, and WGM Design, LLP, offers a diverse range of spaces, including: A basketball gym Classrooms A public café An auditorium An art gallery Offices and more Constructed on a tight site surrounded by existing buildings, the project required innovative solutions. Materials, including structural steel, were strategically stored within the building footprint to navigate space constraints. Meet Our Engineers: Paresh Poudel, PhD, PE Paresh began his engineering journey in 2014 as a Civil Engineer in Nepal before pursuing advanced studies at Clemson University. He earned his master’s degree in 2017 and a PhD in 2019. Paresh has extensive experience in designing concrete, steel, and masonry structures, with a strong focus on spec and built-to-suit tilt-up warehouses. His expertise also includes tenant improvement design and construction administration, reflecting his dedication to delivering practical and efficient structural solutions.
