Creative problem solving - like in so many other industries, getting prospects and clients to participate in a showroom tour can be a challenge for many reasons, difficulty coordinating busy schedules being one of the toughest to tackle. Many people recognize the value of seeing products in person and trying them out for themselves before making purchasing decisions, but leaving the office for a few hours to do it may just be too much to ask. There are other alternatives - virtual showrooms can be accessed from anywhere and an open house at least gives visitors flexibility in terms of when they come and how long they stay. But the in-depth and personal experience of a guided showroom tour can make all the difference in making closing sales. So, our team put their heads together, and came up with a fun and funny solution to the problem. Enter the "ShowVroom" - a trailer pulled by a pickup truck that hosts a mini showroom our sales team can take directly to the parking lots of clients and prospects, making it easy, quick, and convenient for them to take a mini tour of some of the latest workplace furniture and architectural interiors products on the market. Partnering with manufacturers and flooring companies on the tours helps to cut costs and give the tours a broader appeal. (Shout out to Maria Joan Design Group and Tarkett for joining us on the tour we just completed!) Does it take some time and energy? Sure! But it is worth it to create the type of experience clients and prospects need to help them make the right choices for their next projects (which, we hope, will include us).
