We are proud to share a special message highlighting the impactful Medical-Legal Partnership between Benesch, University Hospitals (UH) and The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. This collaboration integrates legal services into healthcare settings, addressing social determinants of health to improve patient outcomes. Since its inception in 2018, the partnership has benefited more than 2,500 individuals, providing assistance with public benefits, educational concerns, housing needs, custody issues and public utility problems. This support funds a full-time, on-site attorney at UH's Rainbow Babies & Children's Ahuja Center for Women & Children, enabling healthcare providers and Legal Aid attorneys to collaborate effectively in identifying and addressing health-harming legal needs.
