The 2024 waterfowl season officially wrapped up for me on Saturday. Since I didn’t grow up hunting, I often feel like I’m showing up late to the party, figuring things out as I go. This year, I made it a point to solo hunt public land, forcing myself to handle everything on my own. The result? Fewer birds in the bag, but hands down the most rewarding experience I could ask for, knowing I did it all myself. I’m grateful to work for a company that fuels my passion for the outdoors and pushes me down some pretty incredible paths. I also know how lucky I am to be in this position, and I want to make sure I get the most out of every opportunity. All in all, this was my most successful hunting season yet, and next year, I’m already thinking bigger. Let's get out there.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss in the recent American Airlines accident including seven local hunters. These men were more than sportsmen—they were dedicated outdoorsmen, cherished friends, and valued members of our southern Maryland hunting community. Their passion for the hunt, respect for the land, and commitment to conservation left a lasting impact on those who knew them. The memories made in the blind, the field, and around the fire will live on, just as their legacy will continue to inspire future generations of hunters.
