Benchmark Hospitality is a hospitality management company that manages over 50 properties across the USA and international. This site is dedicated specifically to one property called Deloitte University located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. DU is a 800 room hotel and training center for Deloitte, a top professional services firm. Benchmark oversees the management of all the hospitality services at the property including front desk, housekeeping, laundry, restaurants, banquets, culinary, engineering, event management and event set up. We have over 400 employees that strive to Be The Difference to our guests each and every day. We are always hiring great people to be a part of our team.   • Meet Alejandra, our amazing Bistro Supervisor! Alejandra joined the Benchmark family five years ago as a Barn Server, and her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. She has worked in several of our food & beverage outlets, earning a spot as a Peer Trainer, and finally working her way up to Bistro Supervisor! What Alejandra loves most? The incredible people she works with! Ale cherishes the warm, welcoming atmosphere and fondly remembers the moment she became a Peer Trainer. Currently, Alejandra is committed to developing her soft skills, focusing on effective communication to inspire and uplift her team. In her free time, Ale enjoys diving into the thrilling world of horror movies—nothing like a good scare to get the adrenaline pumping! A fun fact is that Alejandra has a passion for collecting tiny treasures! She’s always on the lookout for unique miniatures to add to her collection. If stranded on a desert island, you’d find her with her phone and solar charger, ready to binge-watch Tik-Tok all day long!   • Meet Kalei, our Event Resources Manager! Since graduating from Texas A&M in 2021, Kalei has embarked on an incredible journey with us. She started as a Concierge, quickly became a Peer Trainer, and then took on the role of Event Management Coordinator. Her dedication and talent led to her promotion as our Event Resources Manager! Kalei is a vibrant part of our team, actively contributing to various departments, including Banquets and the CARE committee. She loves the supportive culture at our hotel, where colleagues feel like family. One of her favorite experiences is participating in our Hometown Hospitality events, bringing everyone together for a great cause. Outside of work, Kalei stays active through sports and workouts, finding joy in every moment. Fun fact: despite being perceived as a thrill-seeker, she’s actually afraid of heights and hates rollercoasters! If stranded on a deserted island, Kalei would bring a machete and a tarp—very useful!   • Meet Xavi, our incredible Banquet Server! Since 2021, Xavi has been a vital part of our team, shining as a Banquet Server and even as a Peer Trainer for a while. Currently, Xavi is honing his cocktail mixing skills and exploring the world of wines. He’s also learning more about dietary food allergies, a crucial aspect of our industry. Xavi loves our work environment, sharing, “When you walk through the hallways, people greet you with a smile, even if they don’t know you.” It’s a place where friendships thrive and learning is endless. His favorite memories? Our holiday parties! One year he even helped translate for the contract team before joining in on the festivities himself. Outside of work, Xavi treasures quality bonding time with his nephews, taking them to the park and shopping. Fun Fact: Xavi has an identical twin brother! In school, they would switch classes and managed to go unnoticed! One loved science and the other loved math, but somehow they made it work! If stranded on a deserted island, Xavi would bring his dog “Oso” for companionship and camping gear for survival essentials. Very wise!
