Meet Alejandra, our amazing Bistro Supervisor! Alejandra joined the Benchmark family five years ago as a Barn Server, and her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. She has worked in several of our food & beverage outlets, earning a spot as a Peer Trainer, and finally working her way up to Bistro Supervisor! What Alejandra loves most? The incredible people she works with! Ale cherishes the warm, welcoming atmosphere and fondly remembers the moment she became a Peer Trainer. Currently, Alejandra is committed to developing her soft skills, focusing on effective communication to inspire and uplift her team. In her free time, Ale enjoys diving into the thrilling world of horror movies—nothing like a good scare to get the adrenaline pumping! Meet Kalei, our Event Resources Manager! Since graduating from Texas A&M in 2021, Kalei has embarked on an incredible journey with us. She started as a Concierge, quickly became a Peer Trainer, and then took on the role of Event Management Coordinator. Her dedication and talent led to her promotion as our Event Resources Manager! Kalei is a vibrant part of our team, actively contributing to various departments, including Banquets and the CARE committee. She loves the supportive culture at our hotel, where colleagues feel like family. One of her favorite experiences is participating in our Hometown Hospitality events, bringing everyone together for a great cause. Outside of work, Kalei stays active through sports and workouts, finding joy in every moment. Fun fact: despite being perceived as a thrill-seeker, she’s actually afraid of heights and hates rollercoasters! If stranded on a deserted island, Kalei would bring a machete and a tarp—very useful!
