Exciting progress is being made on the WellSpan Health York Hospital Expansion, a joint venture led by LF Driscoll! Our team is working hard to move the project forward, with key milestones on the horizon. Here's where we are: 1. We’re wrapping up crucial site excavation work to prepare the foundations for the next phase of construction. Foundation work is progressing in multiple areas, with preparations underway for major underground installations. 2. We're getting ready to place the tower crane that will help move the project forward. 3. Soon, we’ll be connecting the Central Utility Plant (CUP) to the site, an important step in powering this facility for the future. Progress is being made at Dickinson College with our partners at LF Driscoll. The HUB renovation is progressing with the East Entry facade update, stairs, and ramp off North College Street nearing completion. A unique feature of these stairs is the integrated glycol system, designed to prevent the stairs and ramp from accumulating snow and ice. The system circulates a heated mixture of water and glycol (a type of antifreeze) through embedded pipes beneath the stairs or surface. If you look closely you can see the piping underneath the concrete forms in the photos.
