You gotta get your hands and legs dirty as founders or, as our gurus at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central & Northern PA always say, "Get outta the building!" we did exactly that. As Steve Blank preached, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Penn State’s Swine Farm in State College and the Livestock Evaluation Center in Rocksprings. A heartfelt thanks from the KiposTech team to Prof. Elizabeth Hines for the field visits, warm welcome, and valuable insights! It was a pleasure to see all the OGs—Prof. Bob Dyer (Prof. Emeritus, University of Delaware, and our Scientific Liaison) and Philip Rollinson, our business guru—in their element with Prof. Hines. Seeing firsthand the ventilation challenges in swine farms, which often lead to disease transmission in weaners and sows, gave us a deeper understanding of the engineering hurdles we need to address. This visit helped us visualize how KiposTech’s air disinfection solutions can enhance biosecurity and support animal health. The Livestock Evaluation Center was another highlight—a modern finishing facility with robust ventilation systems. Another perfect setting for new tech implementation. And witnessing some adorable early weaners’ behavior reinforced our commitment to bettering animal health by mitigating airborne pathogens. Market-product fit journey be like this! Raj Kamal Singh

?? Exciting news for Ben Franklin Technology Partners (statewide)! We’ve been awarded a $200,000 grant from the SBA’s FAST Partnership Program to bolster our Innovation Partnership, helping Pennsylvania organizations access federal funding. This funding will support woman-owned, rural, and socially disadvantaged small businesses across the state. This funding was also matched by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development and Ben Franklin itself committed?$50,000 to the Innovation Partnership.
