What an incredible day at STEAMFest hosted by Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce - Are You A Member??at?Lakeland University! We were thrilled to engage with over a thousand 4th and 5th graders, introducing them to the fascinating world of injection molding. At the?Bemis Manufacturing Company?booth, we turned a simple crayon into a hands-on learning experience! Students watched as we melted crayons down to a liquid, injected it into a mold, and then dunked the creation into ice water to cool and solidify. It was amazing to see their eyes light up as they connected the process to potential career paths in STEAM fields. This annual event showcases the diverse STEAM opportunities available right here in Sheboygan County, inspiring young minds to explore and imagine their futures. We’re proud to be part of this community and to ignite curiosity in the next generation of innovators!
