Today, we are pleased to announce the final close of our seventh affordable housing real estate investment fund, Flagship Fund VII, with $354 million in capital commitments. Fund VII exceeded its initial target size and is the largest fund raised by Belveron to date. ? We are incredibly grateful for the support of our longtime investors and are pleased to welcome new institutional thought partners to Fund VII. This fund will allow us to create, preserve and revitalize greatly needed affordable housing units and advance?solutions to the nation's long-standing affordability?crisis. Our Summer Carnival & Family Day returned for the second year to Waterview Apartments in Yonkers with face-painting, plenty of games and some impromptu fun in the sprinklers to keep things cool during summer in the city. Our residents enjoyed fare from local legend No Good Burger Truck and soft serve ice cream to sweeten the afternoon. Hosted by our New York office in partnership with Pinnacle City Living, this annual event gives us a chance to meet our residents face-to-face, hear feedback and spend quality time with our property management staff. #affordablehousing #familyday #newyorksummer #bootsontheground

This week, we launched our newest weekly food pantry for senior residents at Lane Hill Apartments in Yonkers. Nearly half of older New Yorkers have experienced food insecurity, largely due to limited financial resources or being unable to shop for groceries on their own. By making fresh fruit, vegetables and kitchen cabinet staples available at our properties, we hope to take a bite out of senior hunger and help older adults live a happier and more connected life.
