    Excited to announce that Frank and Jacks restaurant on Ira Road in Mount Pleasant is officially under construction! This project represents a creative approach to the use of a pre-engineered metal building, showcasing how versatile these structures can be in modern design.     We're excited to share that our project at 9 Linguard Street has recently been given approval by Charleston's Board of Architectural Review. The mixed-use building includes retail on the ground floor with two luxury apartments on each of the second and third floors. An infill site in Charleston's historic district and one block from the City Market, the project is directly adjacent to our office's design of the Loutrel Hotel to the east and an existing restaurant building at the west. To the south, it fronts a new courtyard in between two historic buildings on Cumberland Street. Those buildings will be renovated into commerical uses. Combined, the courtyard and ground floor retail areas of the three buildings will create a vibrant gathering area for the neighborhood. The design is employs simple materials, clean proportions and large openings to create a distinct but subtle presence within a very tight context along Linguard Street. Our client is Landmark Properties for the new building, as well as for the renovations of the historic properties. Construction should start in late 2024/early 2025.?
