Youth Apprenticeship (YA) is making a difference in the lives of students like Hannah! She began her YA experience in November 2024 with Bellin’s Human Resources department. Here’s what she thinks about her experience so far: “From day one, I've been welcomed into a supportive and enthusiastic work environment. The team here at Bellin has been fantastic, taking me under their wing and guiding me through the ins and outs of human resources. It's been an amazing experience being able to be a part of such an encouraging group of people. Although I haven’t been here long, I can say that this experience is one I will be forever thankful for. I have learned the art of communication and time management. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. I'm incredibly grateful for the chance to be a part of the Bellin family. The positive atmosphere and dedication to personal and professional development make it an ideal place to learn and thrive. I'm excited to continue my journey here, learning new skills and applying the skills I've acquired and contributing to the success of my team.” Wisconsin’s Youth Apprenticeship program is part of a state-wide School-to-Work initiative. It is designed for high school students who want hands-on learning in an occupational area at a worksite, along with classroom instruction. During the program students: ??Earn academic credit ??Earn work-related experience that aligns with their desired future career path ??Earn money ??Often find an employer they choose to stay with long-term Interested in learning more?
