The defendants sought to block the Estate from releasing the artist’s music, claiming involvement in its production. However, the court found the evidence insufficient, allowing the Estate to release an album, which has since climbed the Apple Music charts. The case involved a former branch manager who alleged that he was terminated based on his age in violation of the Texas Labor Code.
